Privacy framework : a framework to enable and promote best practices for privacy and the handling of personal information at Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.: Ci4-148/2016E-PDF
"In order to meet its privacy obligations, and to promote a coherent and effective departmental approach for privacy protection, IRCC has developed the following Privacy Framework (PF). The PF begins by setting out key responsibilities for privacy and the protection of personal information at IRCC, and by establishing a common set of standards and practices for the handling of personal information across the department. It also identifies core privacy risk management practices at IRCC, and helps to connect and guide employees to available departmental privacy tools and resources. It is important to note that this Privacy Framework document builds on and compliments pre-existing policies, procedures, processes and guidelines developed and implemented by IRCC"--p. 4.
