“The Emergency Response Task Force (ERTF) submits this Final Report to the Director General, Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Directorate at Transport Canada. It presents 40 recommendations on ways to improve emergency response assistance to incidents involving flammable liquids transported by rail. ERTF recommendations address three main areas, which are to: improve the Emergency Response Assistance Plan (ERAP) Program, expand ERAP requirements to other flammable liquids, and enhance emergency response, preparedness and training"--Executive summary, p. 1.
