"National crop profiles are developed under the Pesticide Risk Reduction Program (PRRP), a joint program of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) and the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA). The national crop profiles provide baseline information on crop production and pest management practices and document the pest management needs and issues faced by growers. This information is developed through extensive consultation with stakeholders. Information on pest management practices and pesticides is provided for information purposes only. The discussion of any pesticide or pest control technique does not imply endorsement.
