“The Canadian Wildlife Service of Environment and Climate Change Canada is responsible for the management of migratory bird hunting in Canada. A revision of the Migratory Birds Regulations (hereafter the Regulations) has been underway to respond to issues, concerns and challenges that have been raised over the past 20 years. In spring 2014, Environment and Climate Change Canada held public consultations on proposed changes to the Regulations to improve the management of migratory bird hunting in Canada. This current consultation is a continuation of the revision process and relates specifically to issues associated with baiting and the hunting of migratory birds"--Overview, p. 1.
