"The first section of the paper examines the relative incidence of job search according to various socio-demographic characteristics. Annual averages from 1975 to 1982 are used to examine secular movements since 1975. The second section focuses on an analysis of changes in reported job search methods. In addition, these are contrasted with job search methods utilized by the unemployed. Finally, the third section deals with seasonal variations in job search activities among persons with jobs."--Introduction.
