"This evaluation examined the Sydney Tar Ponds and Coke Ovens Remediation Project (STPCORP), a $397.7M ten-year (2004-2014) federal-provincial project, for which Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) provided federal oversight. The Results-based Management and Accountability Framework created for the Project committed to three program evaluations of the STPCORP. A formative evaluation of the Interim Cost-Share Agreement (ICSA) was completed in 2007 and a mid-term evaluation was completed in 2012. This final evaluation serves as an assessment of results achieved by the Project up to December 31, 2013.
