Specialization and hybridization of wheat stem rust, Puccinia graminis tritici, in Canada / by Margaret Newton and Thorvaldur Johnson. : A12-2/160-1932E-PDF
"Annual rust surveys have been made in Canada for the past twelve years to determine the prevalence of physiologic forms of Puccinia graminis tritici, but the information gathered in this period has never been brought together in published form. ... One of the objects which the writers had in view when this bulletin was undertaken was to give a comprehensive account of the results of the stem-rust surveys carried out during the period 1919 to 1930. It was also thought worth while to discuss in some detail the methods used and the technique involved in the determination of physiologic forms"--Introd., p. [3].
