Results of the Manitoba reading assessment conducted in federal and provincial schools : a report of the Education Branch, Department of Indian Affairs & Northern Development, Manitoba Region / J.H. Bagacki.: R44-110/1985E-PDF

"The Reading Assessment was designed to determine strengths and weaknesses, and degree of implementation, of the Manitoba curriculum. The tests can be used to examine strengths and weaknesses of local programs, as well. In any attempt to make a comparison with the provincial results, differences in emphasis in the local program must be kept in mind. These tests were designed to survey the knowledge and skills of a group of students and any attempt to draw conclusions about individual students must be done with caution"--Introduction, p. 2.
