The X-II-ARIMA seasonal adjustment method / by Estela Bee Dagum.: CS12-564/1980E-PDF
"The X-II-ARIMA method was officially adopted by Statistics Canada in January 1975 for the seasonal adjustment of the main Labour Force series and other economic indicators. The procedure was then applied by separately running two different computer programs: first, the ARIMA program which generated the projected values from a model already identified by the user; and second, the X-II which produced the seasonally adjusted series from the original unadjusted series extended by one or two years of extrapolated values."--Preface.
