"The Adult Education and Training Survey 1992 was conducted by Statistics Canada with the cooperation and support of Employment and Immigration Canada. This manual has been produced to facilitate the manipulation of the microdata file of the survey results. The objectives of the 1992 Adult Education and Training Survey were: to measure the incidence of adult education/training in Canada in a comprehensive manner; to provide a socio/economic/demographic profile of individuals who participated and did not participate in training; to profile the types, durations and locations of training; to profile employer involvement in the training process; and to identify barriers to training and education"--P.
