"The present publication supplements the Annual Reports released during the eleven-year period 1950-60 by presenting, for each year, for the country as a whole, more detailed information on causes of death. Whereas the Annual Report for these years contained data on deaths according to the Intermediate List of 150 groups of causes, the present compilation provides a finer breakdown of these figures according to the detailed 4-digit categories of the International Classification of Diseases"--Introduction.
