Educational assistance policy with guidelines for operating the Boarding Home Program for Indian students / G.D. Cromb.: R44-156/1971E-PDF

"The following policy paper and guidelines on Educational Assistance and the Boarding Home Program is the end product of Regional and District workshops and exchanges of correspondence between Headquarters and field officers. The process of developing the paper originated with the study of boarding homes conducted for the Department by Miss B. Snider in 1968, and has been continued under the direction of the Guidance Services Division of the Education Branch. The guidelines both represent and reflect the ideas of the many counsellors in each Region who have the important and highly sensitive job of boarding home placement"--Preface, p. i.
