"The Internal Audit and Evaluation Bureau conducted an evaluation of the Official Languages Centre of Excellence (OLCE) Initiative within the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer (OCHRO) of the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (the Secretariat). The evaluation was part of the Secretariat's five-year evaluation plan and was carried out in accordance with the Treasury Board Policy on Evaluation. The purpose of the evaluation was to assess the relevance and performance of the OLCE Initiative for the period from 2008 to 2012 and to meet the accountability requirements of the Horizontal Evaluation of the Roadmap for Canada's Linguistic Duality 2008–2013: Acting for the Future (the Roadmap) led by Canadian Heritage"--Executive summary, p. 2.
