"In 2013–14, the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat conducted an evaluation of the 2009 Policy on Evaluation. The evaluation assessed the performance of the policy; established a baseline of policy results — in particular, those related to evaluation use and utility; and identified opportunities to better support departments in meeting their evaluation needs through flexible application of the policy and the associated directive and standard.
