Evaluation of the 2009 Policy on Evaluation . : BT22-206/2015E-PDF

"In 2013–14, the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat conducted an evaluation of the 2009 Policy on Evaluation. The evaluation assessed the performance of the policy; established a baseline of policy results — in particular, those related to evaluation use and utility; and identified opportunities to better support departments in meeting their evaluation needs through flexible application of the policy and the associated directive and standard. This report documents the evaluation's key findings, conclusions and recommendations"--Background, p. 3.
