"Through the Department of Canadian Heritage (PCH)'s Lieutenant Governors' Program (LGP), the Lieutenant Governors in Canada's ten provinces receive funding each year in the form of a grant. This evaluation was conducted in accordance with the Financial Administration Act and the 2016-17 to 2020-21 Departmental Evaluation Plan. It covers the period from 2012-13 to 2016-17 and aims to assess the performance (effectiveness, efficiency and economy) and relevance of the program"--Executive summary, p. iii.
