"This audit focused on whether Environment and Climate Change Canada enforced regulations under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 to control the risks of toxic substances. We examined six toxic substances to determine whether Environment and Climate Change Canada and Health Canada had evaluated their progress in meeting objectives for reducing risks to the environment and human health.
