"Japan is the second-largest fish and seafood importer in the world and the top market in all of Asia. Japan’s fish and seafood import market was valued at C$16.2 billion in 2013, a decrease of 11.8% from 2012. Japan’s supply is quite diversified, with fish and seafood products imported from 123 different countries.
