Cydia pomonella granulovirus (strain CMGv4) and its associated end-use product : final decision.: H113-28/2018-31E-PDF
"Under the authority of the Pest Control Products Act, all registered pesticides must be regularly re-evaluated by Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) to ensure that they continue to meet current health and environmental safety standards and continue to have value. Cydia pomonella granulovirus (CpGV) strain CMGv4 is a naturally occurring baculovirus that is used as a microbial pest control agent for the control of codling moth on apple trees. This document presents the final regulatory decision for the re-evaluation of CpGV strain CMGv4 including the required updated risk mitigation measures to protect human health and the environment. All pest control products containing CpGV strain that are registered in Canada are subject to this re-evaluation decision"--Re-evaluation decision, p. 1.
