It includes assessments of land capability for agriculture, forestry, recreation, wildlife, present land use, and pilot land use planning projects in each province. It was undertaken as a co-operative federal-provincial program and is administered under the Agricultural Rehabilitation and Development Act (ARDA) of June, 1961"--page 1.
