"This note responds to a request from the Metropolitan Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (Appendix 1) for data on the Lake Ontario nearshore sediments of the Long Branch to Whitby reach. The information provided includes descriptions and grain-size data for surface-sediment samples, the tracks of echo-sounding traverses, jetting data on unconsolidated sediment thickness and logs of short sediment cores. Data coverage is shown in Figure 1"--Introd.
