"This study attempts to derive estimates of the sensible heat transfer between lake ice and water based on directly observed or easily modelled primary variables, namely the speed and temperature of the water one metre below the ice cover from field data collected from 1983 to 1985 in the headwater lakes of the Yukon River Basin"--Management perspective.
