"A comprehensive literature search of major computer maintained databases was made for all references dealing with tracing fine-grained sediment movement. A total of 100 references on the topic were compiled and reviewed. The report summarizes the state of the art in tracing fine sediments and evaluates the various techniques for use in studies of contaminated sediment dynamics in the Toronto waterfront area of Lake Ontario"--Abstract.
