"The main purpose of this study is to measure the effectiveness of the 'road show' and to evaluate the impact of these displays on the general public. Moreover, the study was also designed to obtain information on how people go about resolving a consumer complaint. In addition, the Department of Consumer and Corporate Affairs was also interested in measuring the attitudes of the small businessman like store managers and owners in the plazas towards the Department, its activities and the programs"--Purpose of Research.
