"Correctional Service Canada (CSC) is responsible for the administration and recording of all inmate monies received or disbursed by CSC on behalf of inmates. Under the Corrections and Conditional Release Act (CCRA) and Corrections and Conditional Release Regulations (CCRR), CSC has the authority to authorize payments to offenders, to prescribe sources of income and to authorize deductions from inmates' money"--Executive summary, page 3.
