Estimation of the impulse response of television channels from digitized waveforms / André Vincent, Mario Bruneau.: Co24-3/7-1376-1985E-PDF
"This report presents a technique tocharacterize television channels without disrupting the normal video program. TELETEXT data lines transmitted during the vertical blanking interval are digitized. The least squares analysis is applied on the sampled data to estimate the channel impulse response, from which the amplitude and phase characteristics are computed"--Abstract.
