"This enactment amends the Copyright Act to provide Canadian journalistic organizations with a right to remuneration for the distribution of their journalistic works on digital platforms owned or controlled by providers that have been designated by the Governor in Council. It also amends the Act so that this remuneration is managed by a collective society"--Summary, page ii.
