"This project focused on the evaluation of a ’hands free’ design concept for a home control system for persons with severe physical disabilities. This report covers the development and evaluation of a prototype system that consisted of two integral parts; a main control section which performed all the operational tasks, and a portable communications display terminal which provided voice access to the control section. The prototype was designed and assembled to determine the viability of using the unique communications terminal for voice control of home appliances, entertainment, communications and security devices"--Abstract.
