"The increasing number of burglaries in Canadian urban centers is causing some concern among police and housing agencies on the ability of current residential exterior doors to resist forcible entry. Since the door standards of the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and the Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB) do not include criteria for resistance to forcible entry, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) has requested Forintek Canada Corp. to conduct a series of security tests on a number of exterior swinging doors and door assemblies sold in the Canadian marketplace"--Introduction.
