AM re-radiation project / C.W. Trueman and S.J. Kubina.: Co24-3/1-RC80-016E-PDF
"The radiation pattern of an MF broadcast antenna can be seriously distorted by nearby power lines. The computer modelling work undertaken in parallel with scale-model measurements at NRC is described. A typical omnidirectional antenna site with two nearby transmission lines (Hornby, Ontario) is first modelled in simplified form as a single line with uniform tower spacing. Modelling guidelines for tower and line representation are developed with this model by close analysis of patterns, current distributions, and resonant behaviour. These are then applied to the geometry of the actual site"--Abstract, page i.
