Canadian environmental sustainability indicators : restoring the Great Lakes areas of concern.: En4-144/4-2023E-PDF

"The Great Lakes basin is Canada's most populated region. Its large population and extensive development places a strain on ecosystem health. Locations having experienced a high level of environmental damage from human activity are called Areas of Concern. This indicator assesses progress on restoring Areas of Concern around the Great Lakes within Canadian waters and those shared with the United States"--Page 5.
