"This report was initiated at the request of the Architectural and Engineering Section of the Research Branch via Mr. P. McGann following his receipt of correspondence and communication concerning problems with ventilation, primarily under winter conditions, in several animal buildings at the Animal Diseases Research Institute site in Ottawa. A brief study was carried out by Mr. McGann and Mr. McCallan of the Architectural and Engineering Section and Dr. Munroe of Engineering Research Service to try and determine the extent of any ventilation problems and probable cause, and to recommend a solution"--Introduction, page [1].
