"The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) is the federal government agency responsible for administering sentences of a term of two years or more, as imposed by the courts. During the past few years, CSC has undertaken several initiatives to better understand and improve on its organizational culture. One of the most important aspects of establishing a diverse, equitable and inclusive workspace is understanding an organization's unique workplace culture. Workplace culture refers to the shared values, beliefs and assumptions that characterize members of an organization and define its nature"--Background and research objectives, page 7.
