Experiment and analysis to assess a preference ordering scheme - the analytical hierarchy process / by R. Bijoor.: D68-15/5-1983E-PDF
"An experiment was conducted by the Directorate of Logistics Analysis to gain some insight into both the practical and theoretical aspects of ranking systems with many attributes. The method used to analyze the experiment is what is popularly known as the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). On the basis of the experiment it was concluded that the AHP is a simple ranking method well attuned to the decision making process as envisaged by the Project Manager Low Level Air Defence (PM LLAD)"--Abstract, page i.
