"This report gives details of the model study conducted on the spillway chute divergence and stilling basin for the South Saskatchewan River Dam. The purpose of the study was to establish hydraulic dimensions and design details for the downstream half of the spillway. Early investigation of this portion of the structure was required in order to allow earthwork contracts to be let, since this area included the deepest structure excavation on the project"--Synopsis, page 1.
