This document is an unofficial summary of the safety requirements for children's sleepwear set out in the Children's Sleepwear Regulations under the CCPSA. It is not intended to substitute, supersede or limit the requirements under the applicable legislation. In case of any discrepancy between this summary and the legislation, the legislation will prevail. The guidelines presented in this document reflect the current Health Canada policy and were developed in consultation with the children's sleepwear industry.
