"This study uses three distinct data sources to present various aspects of minority official language child care services in Canada. The 2022 Survey on the Official Language Minority Population (SOLMP) provides insights into participation in minority official language child care services among children who are eligible for instruction in the minority official language, and on the educational trajectory of these children from child care to elementary school. The 2022 Canadian Survey on the Provision of Child Care Services provides information on the use of official languages within child care facilities. Lastly, the 2021 Census of Population is used to describe the use of official languages by child care workers. …"--Introduction, page 7.
