"A study of the commercial fishery in Great Slave Lake which was reported on in 1946 and 1947 was continued. Lake trout, Cristivomer namaycush, and lake whitefish, Coregonus clupeaformis, were the principle species involved, although appreciable numbers of inconnu, Stenodus leucichthys mackenzii, and a few yellow pike-perch, Stizostedion vitreum, were also sold"--Introduction, page 1.
