"As part of the ArcticCORE program, a field expedition to the Nansen Sound/Greely Fiord complex, based out of the Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) Eureka weather station, was carried out between 16 April – 17 May 2024 to collect the first spring sea ice ecosystem data of the southernmost part of Tuvaijuittuq. Within this sampling period, 30 stations in the Nansen Sound/Greely Fiord complex were visited by helicopter to study the physical, chemical and biological characteristics of collected water and sea ice samples.
