Summarizes the performance of federally regulated employers in achieving employment equity in Canada. Chronicling their progress in building a diverse workforce, it highlights private sector practices that have succeeded in creating employment opportunities for women, visible minorities, persons with disabilities, and Aboriginal peoples. Describes the factors and trends influencing the ability of employers to comply with the Act and also grades employers based on the representativeness of their workforce.
