This report examines why automotive companies are investing in Mexico, as well as the current and potential threat Mexico represents to the Canadian automotive industry. It also discusses the policy implications of the growth of the Mexican automotive industry for Canadian governments in light of their efforts to grow the automotive sector in Canada.
