This guidebook provides an overview of the National Pollutant Release Inventory (NPRI). It describes what industries and businesses report to the NPRI based on the facilities involved, employee criteria, substance threshold, and other criteria. It also describes what is reported to the NPRI, and how to do so. It concludes with factors to consider when using NPRI data. Includes several Web site references and contact information for other related resource organizations.
