Increasing gender inputs into Canadian international trade policy positions at the WTO / by Dana Peebles. : SW21-118/2005

This policy research paper puts forward a draft gender and trade advocacy model and a gender and trade policy analysis tool. The information from the model and tool would guide the core Canadian public-sector bodies responsible for the development of Canada’s negotiating positions at the WTO. Includes a summary of the key gender issues related to specific WTO trade agreements, as well as recommendations and a bibliography.
