The Canada Water Act - annual report, 2004-2005 : En36-426/2005
Provides the framework for cooperation with provinces and territories in the conservation, development, and utilization of Canada’s water resources. Section 38 of the Revised Statutes of Canada (1985) requires that a report on the operations under the Act be laid before Parliament after the end of each fiscal year. The report describes a wide range of federal activities conducted under the authority of the Act, including significant water research, participation in federal-provincial agreements and undertakings, and a public information program.
