The CanTopo Map Standards and Specifications 1:50 000 are a description of all features and information shown on a Canadian Topographic map produced by the Collections Management and GeoInformation Division (the former Centre for Topographic Information Ottawa) of Natural Resources Canada since 2009. This includes a definition of each map feature, instructions on how each feature is compiled and a description of the cartographic symbols used to represent each map feature.
