Presents a preliminary statement on unemployment and earnings amongwage-earners in various cities: Saint John, Winnipeg, Kitchener, Ottawa, Vancouver, Hamilton, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal. The number of wage-earners for the twelve months period ended June 1, 1931, is shown by sex under two main heads, (1) Unemployment by industries, occupations and causes, (2) Earnings by occupations, age groups and time worked.
