Direct contribution of rain water to loading of urban storm runoff / by H. Ng. : En13-5/85-11E-PDF
"Rainwater and runoff samples were systematically collected and analyzed for 30 storm events in a light industrial urban catchment. Analysis of the water samples showed that rainwater supplied practically all the dissolved nitrogen compounds in the observed runoff. Rainwater also supplied significant amounts of nickel and copper and a portion of zinc, total phosphorus and total carbon. Rainwater is not an important source of major ions. The antecedent conditions of the preceding period had little linear relationship with rainwater and runoff quality"--Abstract, p. i.
