[Arctic Policy Framework : discussion guide]. : R74-37/2017S-PDF
"In December 2016, the Prime Minister announced a number of initiatives to embrace opportunities and confront challenges in the changing Arctic including a new Arctic Policy Framework to be co-developed with Indigenous, territorial and provincial partners that will replace Canada's Northern Strategy and the Statement on Canada's Arctic Foreign Policy. The objective of this framework is to provide overarching direction to the Government of Canada's priorities, activities and investments in the Arctic, with a horizon of 2030. This guide provides a starting point for ideas and conversations that will lead to a new Arctic Policy Framework for Canada"--Overview, p. 5, 7.
