"At its June 8, 2017 meeting, the House of Commons Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights (the Committee) unanimously agreed to a motion that it “conduct a study, at the earliest opportunity, into counselling and other mental health supports for jurors and that it report its findings to the House.” This would be the first such study by a parliamentary committee of this important matter"--Introduction, p. 5.
