Assessment of several northern Labrador arctic charr stocks / by J. Brian Dempson. : Fs70-8/81-14E-PDF

"Catch and effort data from the 1980 northern Labrador arctic charr fishery are presented. Landings increased from the previous year by 4% and totalled 204 MT. The concentration of fishing in the Nain-Okak region appears to have reduced the proportion of larger sized fish in the commercial landings. Results of yield per recruit analyses indicated that catch rates in several areas should be reduced"--Abstract.
